ISC Services appoints Vice President and Chief Underwriter

ISC Services, a leading Life Expectancy provider, is pleased to announce that Roger Tafoya has joined the executive management team as Vice President and Chief Underwriter.

Roger brings extensive experience in the insurance industry including underwriting, risk and claims management, and personnel and project management. He joins ISC Services from his position as 2nd Vice President-Individual Insurance Services and Chief Underwriter for Shenandoah Life Insurance Company in Roanoke, VA. Roger’s proven leadership, management and technical expertise make him a valuable addition to the growing ISC Services staff.

Roger received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University and attended Texas Tech Law School. He also served in the United States Marine Corps attaining the rank of Major. In that position, he served as Platoon Commander, Company Executive Officer, Company Commander, and Adjutant while participating in many military operations including Desert Shield and Desert Storm.

James Setaro continues with ISC Services as Chief Underwriter Emeritus. While relinquishing his duties as Chief Underwriter to pursue a better work/life balance, Jim will continue to be heavily involved in the Platinum Underwriting program, informal life expectancies, underwriting research and other projects.
