Morris FishmanMorris started ISC Services in 2005 to satisfy a growing need in the life settlement market for accurate, timely life expectancies. Morris is also a Principal in the Florida office of Insurance Strategies Consulting. He has over 30 years of experience in the life insurance of the U.S.A., Canada, South America and the Caribbean and has worked for stock and mutual life insurance companies and as a consultant.

In addition to his actuarial credentials, Morris is also a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU, 1978); a Fellow of the Life Management Institute (FLMI, 1978); and a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC, 1988). He has also been a member of the Board of Directors (both as an inside and an outside director) of several corporations. He currently serves as a director of VistaPharm, a generic pharmaceutical manufacturer, and is an ad hoc member of the Finance committee of NICA, the Florida Birth-Related Neurological Injury Compensation Plan.

Morris has been a consulting actuary since 1982. Prior to that he held significant, responsible actuarial and executive positions with several insurance companies.Morris has the necessary experience and education (basic and continuing), per the Academy of Actuaries Qualification Standards for Prescribed Statements of Actuarial Opinion, to render a public statement of actuarial opinion.

His experience ranges from impaired risks to developing one of the first preferred and super-preferred underwriting programs. He has conducted multiple mortality studies, participated in establishing underwriting guidelines, and conducted mortality research studies. As a consultant, he was involved in underwriting audits, including reviews of life expectancy providers.
